Amid heavy rains in winter, displaced who live in camps north-west of Syria suffer from lack of good shelter as the rains flooded and uprooted dozens of tents in the area

WINTER 2018-2019

On 25 December 2018, a heavy rainstorm struck northern Syria. The storm continued for two consecutive days, creating catastrophic conditions for those living in camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs). About 250,000 residents were hit by flooding. No casualties have been reported thus far but housing, possessions and livestock have been badly damaged. The storm swept away and damaged thousands of tents and in some low lying areas, water levels rose above the knee. Kids Paradise aims to respond immediately and support the affected families.

Our team had so grateful starting day of new year. Our team has delivered warm clothing for kids, carpets, and food baskets to the families in the affected camps in Idlib. With your great support and donations more families will have warm nights. Please stay tuned for more updates towards our relief efforts.
