Emergency Support for Refugees Affected by COVID-19
Helping the most vulnerable communities through this global pandemic

Viruses know no borders. COVID-19 has made its way into every community throughout the world. We have seen the global population respond in different ways — depending on their means and resources. Some of the most vulnerable communities in the world are those that we work with on a daily basis: refugees. Their resources — in both knowledge and means — are far more limited than us all.

We launched this emergency campaign to respond to this need.

  • Our protection team continues to raise the awareness for thousands of children from the #COVID-19 epidemic in northern Syria through several activities, including plays videos, awareness sessions, and brochures distribution on the epidemic and health care.
  • Our mobile unit spread awareness about COVID-19 for many thousands of IDPs in many camps in the north west of Syria. We reached thousands of people with awareness sessions and leaflets.
We are preparing to distribute the hygiene kits for almost 1000 persons shortly.

Coronavirus pandemic
Kids Paradise started the mobile unit of community awareness sessions about the Coronavirus pandemic in the IDPs’ camps in Idleb.
We aim to increase the awareness of the Syrian people and especially for those in camps and who don’t have access to the correct information.
Thousands of leaflets and posters will be distributed in the IDPs’ camps.
Syrian people especially in the north west of Syria are among the least able to afford skyrocketing prices for Soap, Sanitizers, and Disinfectant wipes/materials.

KP is working hard to find more support to reach more people in community awareness sessions and to distribute Masks and hygiene kits.
COVID-19 is the new enemy!

These two little boys living in a camp for displaced persons in Idlib show us how to prevent a corona virus pandemic: Protect yourself and others and stay at home.
We should all follow the example of these two little boys… to stop the spread of COVID19: Protect ourselves and others and stay at home.
