No matter how much we try to comprehend how is it like to be living in one of the world’s most devastated, afflicted places, we will always fail to imagine. The families in Eastern Ghouta are afraid for their lives, for more than one reason. They are afraid the tunnels collapse on them and bury them alive. They are also afraid to leave the underground shelters and be killed by a shell or an explosive barrel. They can’t even go outside to get something to eat and feed their children.
